This is one of the most simple and common Italian pies. It is also my favorite! I use my family’s short crust pastry recipe and strawberry or raspberry jam as filling. You can ask for your favorite type of jam or Nutella!

Frangipane Pie
This cake inspired the name FranciPan! Short crust pastry filled with rich almond filling. Can be decorated with jam or chocolate. It does not come with the fruit on top.

Marble Cake
The smell of freshly baked marble cake is, for many people, one of the best childhood memories! I always eat it when it is still warm from the oven because I cannot wait! Famous sponge cake with vanilla and chocolate flavors.

Pistachio Caprese
If you love pistachios as much as I do, you have to try this cake! It is a dense and creamy cake, with an intense taste of pistachios. I personally love it! It does not contain any flour or butter.

Blueberry Pie
I love making this pie in spring, after a day spent blueberry picking in a local farm. It reminds me of when I used to pick blueberries or wild strawberries with my mom when hiking on the Alps. It is a homemade pie crust filled with juicy blueberries (or strawberries), a little bit of sugar and some lemon flavor. I recommend eating it warm, with some vanilla ice-cream if you like. It does not come with the ice-cream on top.

Raspberry Sbriciolata
This pie is very similar to the very common Italian crostata, but with a crumble on top. It is filled with raspberry jam and topped with extra short crust pastry, fresh raspberries and crunchy almond slices.

Nutella Happiness
This fragranced and genuine cake will make everybody happy, in particular the kids. Ideal for an afternoon snack.

Apple Strudel
Light and creamy strudel, packed with apples, cinnamon and pine nuts. The perfect fall dessert!
Serving recommendation: warm, with vanilla gelato!

Red Wine and Chocolate Cake
An unusual and very interesting rich cake! A perfect balance of dark chocolate and red wine mixed with cinnamon and cloves spices. It will remind you of mulled wine after a winter day on the snow!
